On-Site Computer Service
We will service your computer on-site. A technician will visit you at your home or office with spare parts, software, virus tools, etc. In rare occasions it would be beneficial for us to remove the hardware off-site for repair. We will pick-up and re-install the hardware as part of our service.
For existing customers, in some instances, we are able to remote control your computer to assist you without even driving out to you, saving time and money.
IT Service Management Customers enjoy the convenience that most of their server upgrades, preventative scanning, backup monitoring are managed Out Of Bounds (OOB) during times when the server is in low demand.
Data Recovery Services
The best way to recover your data is to restore from a backup. You don't need to read this section if you have a live backup service on the internet that you can restore any recent version of your documents from any computer at a moment's notice.
We have two alternatives available, should you have no access to important data.
- Level 1 recovery: If a hard drive is 'worn down' from normal use, often we can still recover data from it with our utilities.
- Level 2 recovery: If a hard drive has suffered physical damage, we often have no option but to take it to a data recovery facility. This option is costly and only used in extreme cases

Virus, Spyware and Malware removal
Slow computers, difficult (or impossible) to close down, badly 'un-installed' software, viruses, malware....
We can remove the Viruses, SpyWare and the like. During our visit we will also go through the installed software with you to see if your computer us needlessly, and inadvertently, processing all sorts of software meant to 'enhance your experience' while slowing down your ability to 'get things done'
Driver Upgrades
Do you have a computer that needs to work with newer software, or you want to re-install drivers and you don't have the latest software available? Just give us a call. We will come and install the latest software drivers for all your hardware.
And we will leave the installation disks behind for your future use.
Operating System Re-installation
Windows 98, DOS4.01, NT4, Windows XP-Home...? Do you still have the disks? Do you have the licence?
If you have the sticker that shows that you have a licence to use the software, we will bring the operating system disk to go with the licence.
Wipe 'n Reload
For that new, clean computer, we can Reformat the hard drive and install a brand new copy of Windows on it. With your assistance we will identify the data to be backed up, and place the data on a temporary device such as an External Hard Drive or DVD. Then, we will install your operating system, peripherals, virus scanner, internet access, email accounts etc. back on your machine. Optional: Install and configure application software.
Mexican Install
Without removing any data, we install a fresh copy of your operating system in a 2nd directory. This option has the benefits that all data remains on the hard drive, and its cost is lower, but it leaves a messy hard drive behind, full of old data and directories which won't be used. (there are some more benefits and draw-backs, but we will assess each situation individually)
Peripheral Installation
Do you want to get the most out of your Multi-function printer? Your 5.1 Dolby surround system sounds wrong? Or maybe you simply don't want the hassle or risks of installing the wires wrong.
We will install your computer add-on or replacement part safely and with the correct cables, drivers and software.
While we're working on your latest addition to your computer, we usually need to upgrade other drivers to get the most out of your new purchase. Rest easy, its all part of the service.
Hardware Troubleshooting
The thing we fear most. Hidden trouble. Loose connection, bad cable, bad memory, overheating, etc.
These are some of the most complicated problems to troubleshoot. We can diagnose your hardware to component level if we need to.
And we will advise you when it is cheaper to replace the component than to repair it. It's as simple as that!
